Zum Abschluss der 21 Gebetstage fand 2021 ein Gebetsabend über Zoom mit deutschen und internationalen Pastoren und Leitern sowohl aus Deutschland als auch aus verschiedenen Nationen statt. Seit dem laden wir jedes Jahr am Tag der Deutschen Einheit zum gemeinsamen Gebet für Deutschland ein. So auch in diesem Jahr:

Unser Gebet ist eine Möglichkeit für das gesellschaftliche, politische und wirtschaftliche Wohl dieses Landes, in dem wir gesegnet werden und das uns viel gegeben hat einzutreten und auch geistig etwas zurückzugeben. Denn Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund geht es nicht nur um die Frage „Was kann Deutschland uns geben?“ sondern unser Anliegen und unsere Perspektive sind „Was können wir Deutschland zurückgeben?“ Unser Gebet ist zudem Ausdruck unserer Dankbarkeit, unserer Verbundenheit und Verantwortung.
Es gibt sehr viele Christen, Pastoren und Leiter mit internationalem Hintergrund, die mit ihrer Arbeit und ihrem täglichen Engagement sehr viel in und für Deutschland leisten und auch vereinzelt sehr viel für sein Wohlergehen beten. Wenn diese einzelnen Flammen des Gebets in Einheit zusammenkommen, können wir ein großes Gebetsfeuer entfachen, das für Deutschland brennt und das wir mit den Gebeten der deutschen Christen und Gemeinden verbinden. Deshalb ist es uns wichtig, dass wir in diesem Gebet auch mit deutschen Gemeinden verschiedener Denominationen als Einheit zusammenkommen. Denn als Christen sind wir nicht nur zum Gebet sondern auch zur Einheit berufen (Johannes 17,22-23).
Welch ein Segen ist es, wenn deutsche und internationale Christen im Gebet zusammenkommen und als seine Könige und Priester für ihr Land vor Gott eintreten (Offenbarung 1,6; 5,10; Hesekiel 22,30).
Wenn wir dies am Tag der Deutschen Einheit tun, hat dies mehr als einen symbolischen Charakter, da gerade die der Wiedervereinigung vorausgegangenen Gebete uns verdeutlichen, welche Kraft im gemeinsamen Gebet liegt.

On October 3, 2021, Pastor Richard Aidoo began a 21-day "Prayer of the Nations for Germany" based on Jeremiah 29:11 to bring together especially international Christians, pastors and leaders living in or connected to Germany to pray together for the nation.
In 2021, to conclude the 21 Days of Prayer, a prayer program on Zoom was held with German and international Pastors and leaders from both Germany and various nations.
Since then, we have been inviting people to pray together for Germany every year on the Day of German Unity. So also this year:

Our prayer for Germany is an opportunity to intercede for the social, political and economic well-being of this country in which we are blessed and which has given us much. It is also an opportunity to give something back spiritually because people with a migration background are not only concerned with the question "What can Germany give us?" but our concern and perspective is "What can we give back to Germany?"
Our prayer is also an expression of our gratitude, our commitment and our responsibility.
There are many Christians, Pastors and leaders with an international background who do a lot in and for Germany with their work and their daily commitment and who also pray very much for its well-being. When these individual flames of prayer come together in unity, we can kindle a great fire of prayer that burns for Germany and that we connect with the prayers of German Christians and congregations. Therefore, it is important to us that we also come together as one in this prayer with the German congregations of different denominations. For as Christians we are called not only to prayer but also to unity (John 17:22-23).
What a blessing there is in German and international Christians coming together in prayer and standing in the gap before God as His kings and priests for their country (Revelation 1:6; 5:10; Ezekiel 22:30).
When we do this on the Day of German Unity, it has more than a symbolic character, since it is precisely the prayers that preceded the reunification that make clear to us what power lies in common prayer.
After the "Prayer of the Nations for Germany" on October 3, 2024, we will take part in the Germany-wide prayer "Germany prays together" from 8:15 pm.

The initiative "October 3 - Germany sings and sounds" also invites people to sing together outdoors from 7 to 8 p.m. in many cities across Germany.

Anlässlich des Kongresses "Jesus Unites" hat Pastor Richard Aidoo 2011 die Initiative
"5 Minuten Gebet für Deutschland täglich" ins Leben gerufen. Jeder, der mit Deutschland verbunden ist, hier lebt und das Land liebt, ist eingeladen 5 Minuten am Tag für dieses zu beten.
Deutschland hat den Nationen nicht nur in Industrie, Wirtschaft, Technik, Forschung, Kunst und Kultur viel gegeben. Es hatte auch einen großen Anteil daran, dass die christliche Botschaft weltweit verbreitet und schließlich in gedruckter Form allen Menschen zugänglich gemacht wurde.
Deutschland ist das Land der Reformation, von deren Folgen und Erbe alle Christen profitieren. Dieses Land der Reformation ist nach wie vor ein geistiger Riese.
Die vielen internationalen Gemeinden in Deutschland können wie ein Weckruf und eine Ermutigung sein. Sie können neue Impulse bringen und auch durch ihre Gebete geistig etwas zurückgeben.
Gebete haben Kraft und sie sind wie ein Samen, der gesät wird. Er wird nicht über Nacht aufgehen, manchmal braucht es längere Zeit, bis man die Ernte sehen kann. Aber Gebete wirken.
In Jeremia 33,3 lesen wir: “Rufe mich an, so will ich dir antworten und will dir kundtun große und unfassbare Dinge, von denen du nichts weißt”. Dies sollte uns ermutigen, kontinuierlich und auch gemeinsam für Deutschland zu beten und für unser Land einzustehen.

On the occasion of the "Jesus Unites" congress in 2011, Pastor Richard Aidoo launched the initiative "5 minutes of prayer for Germany daily". Everyone who is connected to Germany, lives here and loves the country is invited to pray for it 5 minutes a day.
Germany has given a lot to the nations not only in industry, economy, technology, research, art and culture. It also had a great part in spreading the Christian message worldwide and finally making it available to all people in printed form.
Germany is the land of the Reformation, from whose consequences and legacy all Christians benefit. This land of the Reformation is still a spiritual giant.
The many international congregations in Germany can be like a wake-up call and an encouragement. They can bring new impulses and also give something back spiritually through their prayers.
Prayers have power and they are like a seed that is sown. It will not sprout overnight, sometimes it takes a longer time to see the harvest. But prayers do work.
In Jeremiah 33:3 we read, "Call upon me, and I will answer thee; and I will make known unto thee great and incomprehensible things, of which thou knowest nothing."
This should encourage us to pray continuously and united for Germany and to stand up for our country.
